From Potomac region of Montgomery County:
Take Route 28 east through Rockville. Route 28 east is also designated as Norbeck Road. Traveling east you will cross Georgia Avenue. The second red light after crossing Georgia Avenue will be Layhill Road. Turn left on Layhill Road at the red light, take Layhill to top of the small hill and turn right on Norwood Rd (Red Door Store will be on your left), continue on Norwood approximately 2 city blocks, Garden Gate will be on your left.

From Bethesda, Chevy Chase and NW DC:
Take Connecticut Avenue north beyond the Beltway and be sure to make the left turn, just past the fire station in Kensington, in order to stay on Connecticut Avenue. If you miss the left turn, the road becomes University Blvd. which will take you to Georgia Avenue after a couple of red lights, then turn left on Georgia Connecticut eventually will cross Georgia Avenue in the Aspen Hill area. Turn left on Georgia, you are headed north towards Olney. At the fourth red light turn right on Norbeck Road. Turn left on Layhill Road at the red light, take Layhill to top of the small hill and turn right on Norwood Rd (Red Door Store will be on your left), continue on Norwood approx. 2 city blocks, Garden Gate will be on your left.

From Upper Middle Montgomery County:
Take Rt. 27 south to Damascus, turn left (East) on Rt.108, stay on 108 all the way and cross over Georgia Ave. in Olney, continue on 108 and turn right on Rt. 182 or Dr. Bird Rd (just in front of the Olney Theater), Dr. Bird becomes Norwood Rd, cross over Ednor/Layhill Rd. (Red Door Store on your right), continue on Norwood approx. 2 city blocks, Garden Gate will be on your left.

From Central or Western Howard/Carroll Counties:
Take Rt.108 (or Rt. 32 to Rt. 108) into Clarksville, head southwest towards Montgomery County, stay on 108 all the way to Sandy Spring. The Sandy Spring bank will be on your left in Sandy Spring, just after the bank turn left (south) on Norwood Rd., go about one mile, turn left again (you are still on Norwood Rd., cross over Ednor/Layhill Rd (Red Door Store on your right), continue on Norwood approx. 2 city blocks, Garden Gate will be on your left.

From Eastern Howard County or Western PG County: Take Route 29 south towards DC. Turn right on Route 198 in Burtonsville. Route 198 is Spencerville Road. Cross over New Hampshire Avenue, the next red light will be Norwood Road. Turn right on Norwood Road. Garden Gate will be on your right just on the far side of the first large right hand sweep in the road, slow down and put your right blinker on!

From PG County or Central DC:
Take New Hampshire Ave. (Rt. 650) north towards White Oak. Several miles above the Beltway you will cross under Rt. 29, continue on New Hampshire Avenue, you will cross the Randolph Road intersection. Approximately two miles above the Randolph Road intersection turn left or west on to Norwood Road. After the red light at the Norwood/Norbeck intersection Garden Gate will be on your right just on the far side of the first large right hand sweep in the road, slow down and put your right blinker on!

From PG County or Central DC:
From downtown Silver Spring take Colesville Road (Route 29) north, above the Beltway, until you reach New Hampshire Avenue. Turn north (north is a left turn, however, there is a clover leaf) on to New Hampshire. Continue on New Hampshire Avenue and you will cross the Randolph Road intersection. Approximately two miles above the Randolph Road intersection turn left or west on to Norwood Road. After the red light at the Norwood/Norbeck intersection Garden Gate will be on your right just on the far side of the first large right hand sweep in the road, slow down and put your right blinker on!
